We have an open wide Elysee Terrace, it is natural that you would love to have your friends over and celebrate the open space! With rooftop parties in trend, it is very imperious so that we designed that space in such a way that there is enough area for people to enjoy an evening and feel good about the open air space. It has a gathering capacity off 500 pax
The whole area of Elysee Terrace is designed with enough green potted plants and flowers so that it looks live. Also placed colourful balloons to make it look beautiful. The plants and the small garden that we have on the terrace be looked after well.
If you are thinking fancy, stylish, exclusive and all of that at an affordable and light budget party into one of the most memorable and cherished experiences for you as a host and your guests.
1. Ambience and lighting
A key part of the terrace venue is how to keep it well-lit and the ambience lively. While not much décor is needed, there are small things that can be done to make it look picture perfect and sophisticated. Candles lighting up the entire arena, maybe few floating in little pools of water, and few scented. Colorful lamps (cloth or paper ones, if you can arrange them) to give a shadowy look to the night. You may even try and make use of the Diwali lights in innovative ways! For parties during the daytime (maybe a barbeque or brunch on a wintery Sunday afternoon), what becomes more important is what you see around you. What could enhance that view are flowers and fruit bearing plants, picnic mats, straw furniture and proper seating area, maybe a small inflatable pool for the kids. You can think of all that enhances the look and feel of the area. Once you have worked on the ambience, move on to the next key thing.
2. Prepare for the weather
The most exciting thing about any open-air gathering is the freshness in the air and proximity to nature that anyone would love. Now comes the slightly tough part, how to deal with the weather? If it’s pleasant, as in spring or autumn, then there is little you need to do. But that does not mean you shouldn’t use the terrace in summers and winters. If too cold, have a Bon-fire which is perhaps the most fun (and is possibly the easiest as you just need some wooden logs and splinters), or keep “Angeethis” if you can arrange those. If too hot, don’t even think of throwing a terrace party without keeping “mist fans” or those “fans that spray water” and I’m saying this out of experience. In winters, people are still okay with cold weather coz they are dancing and drinking. But summers become unbearable. And these ‘mist fans’ are true saviors. They are absolutely amazing, they work like a breeze and are very easy to hire. Without using those, you would have most of your guests sweating, complaining and rushing indoors to find the air conditioner.
